Sometime in the Autumn of 2006, I wrote a post about this memorial in the photo. It was a memorial about a group of people fighting for democracy, liberty, freedom and human rights. This memorial is located where you walk from the oldest University in Budapest ELTE, towards the green Freedom Bridge. Initially, I thought it was about the lady as a teacher since she was in a braced up posture. The other faceless ones give this chill as if they are totally afraid. Taking the lead from the lady. The mood and atmosphere in this lighting given as seen in the photograph is more than optimistic. It smelled beautiful too (it was autumn and pretty early in the morning).

I love the colors in Autumn. Actually more reasons.

As you walk, there is a light breeze and it’s cool. You will probably need a light trench coat.

As you walk, you can hear the leaves that have fallen and as you step on them with your Autumn boots.

Autumn makes me want to grab a hot chocolate 🙂

It is a season that makes cinnamon flavoured cakes or cookies especially welcoming. (In fact, I love cinnamon flavoured food/beverages at any time of the year too.)

Some foggy mornings are beautiful with these orange, yellow, red, brown and green.

This is the beginning of bringing out cosy sweaters, scarfs, mittens and nice smelling candles. This is a nice season to have long, cool walks. For me, I also like to pick up the beautiful fallen leaves.

Are there any special seasons that you like too? Which ones and why do you like it?
